After creating your identity, the career moves into player development. Copero uses attributes to give each footballer clear strengths and weaknesses instead of starting every run from the same template. Depending on your position, you may care more about pace, technique, finishing, passing, physical ability or other qualities. The football career simulator encourages you to think about the kind of player you want to become rather than only chasing the highest possible number. A fast attacker with limited physical strength will create different choices from a balanced forward, just as a technical midfielder can develop along a different route from a defensive one.

Weaknesses are useful because they make the career more interesting. A player who is already perfect in every area would leave very little room for progression. In a football player career simulator, the early profile creates a problem to solve over multiple seasons. You may choose to strengthen an existing advantage, correct an obvious weakness or build a more rounded player. Progress then has context: a rating increase represents the career you have actually played rather than a disconnected number. By the time your footballer reaches the later stages, the final profile reflects the development choices, seasonal performances and events that happened along the way. That continuity is what turns a collection of ratings into a recognizable player story.
